Sylvia and David were blessed with a gorgeous summer day in Essex CT for their wedding. They were married in a quaint church in the center of town, St. John's Episcopal Church. Above the altar there hung a huge mobile with hundreds of origami birds. After the ceremony we headed down the street to the Essex Museum, which we ended up having quite the audience for photos. We were off again to the shipyard to get our ride to the reception. I have to tell you arriving by boat to the reception is the way to go. We arrived at the Essex Yacht Club in true maritime style!
One thing that stood out in my mind all day was that I do not think that Sylvia and Dave ever stopped smiling. Even if I wanted to get a serious pose I don't think it would have happened. They had a ear to ear grins on all day. It is so wonderful to have a job where you get to witness and capture true love. We absolutely had a great time shooting this wedding. It does the heart good.
